Sean is joined by Chris Rubyor, the Game Director at Signal Studios. He works with the design team, and assists with everything. This game was about putting toys together, and re-creating the toy battles that they had as children. Ubisoft liked their vision.

Sean is intrigued by the Starlight army. She has a lot of personalities. She has pixies, bears and unicorns in her team. She is a fun character. Sean says that the game is violent, but it looks like it doesn't hurt. They are toys on the battlefield. Tearing a hole in a teddy bear results in stuffing coming out.

Unity will be about Paris, and was redesigned from the ground up. Alex and Sean played a heist together. The co-op missions are embedded into the world. The loot bar drops if a player is spotted.

The crowd ecosystem can be changed in each person's world, which can be investigated online. The missions can be played out with a different crowd system.

Individual characters can have customization. Both skills and costumes. Players can take on role judging by how they play the game. The team is stronger if there are several players with different styles. Alex talks about some of the customization. Navigation has been redesigned. Paris has multiple levels, both an overworld and underground.

Sean is with Adam Urbano, the Mortal Kombat X Senior Producer at Netherrealms. Why is it an X, and not a 10? It is the next generation of characters. There are some fan favorites.

The story mode from 9 is coming back because it was so good. They discuss the back story of the characters. Sean asks how the recoil damage works. It is a tough job, but they love balance. The stage is toned down, but there are still stage interactions.

There is a lot of detail in the X-rays and fatalities. All of the internal organs, muscles and skeletons had to be designed. Sub-Zero shouldn't exist, and they had to find a way of bringing him back. Mortal Kombat X - it is a X, not a 10!

Far Cry 4 Total Animal Annihilation Edit

Sean is in the Ubisoft booth, and has just played Far Cry 4. It is all about the elephant! There is an elephant about to beat up a snow leopard. Sean talks about the bases in the demo, and talks about the different ways of raiding it.

Sean chose to ride an elephant through the front door and smash everything! Far Cry 4 feels a lot like Far Cry 3, and has most of the same mechanics. It has a new grapple system and new guns. Riding the elephant is the best part. The elephant can burst threw things, and throw guards!

Shadow of Mordor Orc Slaying 101 Edit

Sean is with the director of design of Shadow of Mordor. Sean is a big Assassin's Creed fan, and is surprised that it is not a clone. They are interested in what if Baramige got the ring. What would have happened?

The growth in power of the character is important. Mordor is a very dangerous. It is hard and challenging, but the strength that you get throughout the game makes the game become a playground, as the player forces the enemies to fight each other.

Sean felt the playground part with the creatures that can be mounted. They wanted the world to feel like a 'lost world'. They are trying to make memorable villains. They will make 3-5 really stand out.

Sean has checked out Assassin's Creed Rogue, and is interviewing Iva Balabanov, the producer of Assassin's Creed: Rogue. Unity is the major title for the next generation, and the technology is being made from the ground up.

Rogue will provide a new game for people who haven't made the transition yet. The environment is very different from other titles, and is more diverse. It is based on the 7 Years War, and is based in the north of America. It is a frozen environment with glaciers to avoid. There will be land gameplay as well.

It is much more lush and green environment. New York City is also in this game, but is set before the city was destroyed in Assassin's Creed 3. The city has been overhauled.

The hazard environment of the Atlantic Ocean is discussed. The main character is a Templar, the first in the series. The Templar feature has to be more than just one simple gimmick.

There is a focus on the AI - you can be assassinated by enemies in the same was as the player could do in previous games! Your ship can be attacked and taken over! The ice can be used to the player's advantage and disadvantage. The icebergs can damage ships and used defensively in combat. Shooting icebergs can cause shockwaves.

Ice sheets cover the water's surface which can cause issues for players who aren't prepared. The ship is smaller but faster than in Black Flag. The Templars have virtually unlimited funds.
